Libyan Rebels Said to be Approaching Tripoli

Rebel forces in Libya reportedly took several more cities Wednesday night, and were approaching the country's capital, Tripoli, where Muammar Qaddafi is still clinging to power. The rebel forces were continuing to amass victories, despite reports of mass killings of protesters by Libyan forces, with thousands said to be dead.

The United States, Britain and Turkey on Wednesday night were in the process of evacuating their citizens from Libya. The foreign citizens left the country by ship, as airports in the country were closed.
