Violent protests were reported Sunday in Yemen, with thousands of protestors continuing throughout Sunday to converge on a central square in the capital city of Sa'ana. Witnesses said that 23 people have been arrested, and that several protestors have been injured.

Sunday marked the third straight day of major protests in Yemen, with demonstrators demanding that the president, Ali Abdullah Salah, resign. Several weeks ago, Salah said he would not run for another term as President of Yemen.
