Egyptian opposition leader Mohamed ElBaradei said Sunday evening that "what we began in the streets cannnot be reversed.anymore." With tens of thousands of people chanting "Down with [Egyptian President Hosni] Mubarak," El Baradei said, "We have one goal and only one goal. The end of the Mubarak government and the beginning of a new phase in our history."
The former chairman of the International Atomic Energy Agency added, "I ask your patience. The change will come in the coming days."
