Major-General Yoav Galant of the Israel Defense Forces, rejected, Thursday evening, charges disclosed Thursday afternoon by State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss, that Galant lied to authorities about expansion of his property in the community of Amikam.
Sources close to Galant say he continued activities associated with his succeeding Lieutenant-General Gabi Ashkenazi as Chief of Staff, scheduled for next month.
