At a press conference on Saturday, Khalil al-Hayya, a Hamas official in the Gaza region, said that the release of captured IDF soldier Gilad Schalit can only be secured if Israel releases imprisoned terrorists.

"The occupation knows very well that the release of Schalit will not come about without a deal to release Palestinian prisoners."
