Six firefighting companies, assisted by aerial sprayers, were sent Tuesday morning to battle a forest fire next to the western Galilee community of Neve Ziv. Firefighting services report that the blaze threatens houses in the community but no decision has been made on evacuating the residents.
A fire was reported earlier next to the western Galilee community of Segev.
