The 2010 Maplecroft report has ranked Israel 14th on its Terrorism Risk Index (TRI) which assesses the frequency and intensity of terrorist incidents. The ranking puts Israel in a group of only sixteen countries which are considered an "extreme risk." It also placed the PA 5th.
