A new polls of Palestinian Authority Arabs shows that nearly half of them favor firing rockets and missiles at Israel. The poll also shows that a vast majority preferred the leadership of Yasser Arafat over Mahmoud Abbas, and were very interested in restoring positive relations between Hamas and Fatah.
Most PA Arabs would like to see a final status deal achieved with Israel. 46% of them said they favored continuing rocket and missile attacks against Israel, while 49% said they opposed the idea.
