A research team headed by Chemistry Prof. Fernando Patolsky of Tel Aviv University says it has developed a powerful electronic sensor that detects numerous types of explosives.
The team says the new sensor, developed using nanotechnology, is inexpensive, easily portable and more sensitive and reliable at detecting explosives than sniffer dogs.
