The Spokesperson's Office of the Israel Defense Forces report violent illegal disturbances Friday afternoon along the security fence near the Samarian Arab villages of Bil'in and Na'alin, about halfway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. In Na'alin, a crowd of about 50 Palestinian Arabs and leftists from Israel and abroad gathered near the barrier. In Bil'in, the crowd was estimated at 40.

In addition to the Bil'in and Na'alin riots, which have been a weekly event for years, there was a disturbance by 50 Palestinian Authority Arabs in Nabi Salach, northwest of Ramallah. Rioters at all three locations threw rocks at Israeli security personnel, who responded with riot control measures.
