The US-based research institute Freedom House released a study Wednesday detailing the UN’s disregard for Iranian human rights abuses. The report says the United Nations Human Rights Council is failing to address most major violations and even covers up some of the worst.
The report added that the council had focused much of its criticism on Israel while failing to pass any resolutions on Iran despite evidence of massive human rights violations in the country.
