French officials said Saturday night that Egyptian authorities recently arrested an Islamic Jihad terrorist who planned to conduct an attack at an IDF fundraising event in Paris. A top official in the French security services said that the terrorist held Belgian and Tunisian citizenship. The terrorist was arrested in Sinai after he emerged from a smuggling tunnel under the Gaza border. Egypt deported him to Belgium, which in turn deported him to France, where he is now being held.
