France, Italy and Spain, who all contribute significantly to the UNIFIL force in southern Lebanon, are considering removing their troops from the country. France leads the process because its soldiers were attacked several times by residents of southern Lebanon with the encouragement of the Hizbullah.
Currently there are intensive efforts to prevent the French decision.
