Rabbi Yosef: Opposes Discrimination and Court

Shas Chairman Eli Yishai, consulted Wednesday evening with the spiritual leader of the Shas party, Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, regarding the Supreme Court ruling against discrimination in the Emmanuel school.



Rabbi Yosef expressed regret about the decision and said that  the issue could have been resolved peacefully and it was unnecessary to go to court. However, Rabbi Yosef also stressed that he strongly opposed discrimination. Tomorrow the movement's position will be publicized.
