The family of slain Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Mabhoud welcomed reports that Israeli national Uri Brodsky was arrested in Poland for alleged involvement in the January assassination in Dubai. The family said in a statement that the reports show the entire world "rejects such crimes performed in cold blood."

The statement, obtained by al-Jazeera, calls upon UAE authorities to act quickly and demand the extradition of the suspect in order to interrogate and indict him inside UAE territory.
