United States President Barack Obama has returned to the Gulf Coast for an update on the British Petroleum oil spill. According to a White House spokesman, Obama is traveling in Mississippi, Alabama and Florida - three states whose shores and economies are being affected by the worst environmental disaster in American history.
The trip will be Obama's fourth to the region since the deep-sea leak began April 20 with the explosion of an oil rig leased by the British Petroleum company.
