National Infrastructures Minister Uzi Landau said Thursday in the wake of the announcement on the additional natural gas discovered at the Tamar drill site, and the possibility that there was double that amount in the Leviathan site, that there was no doubt that the find makes Israel “a natural gas superpower. These discoveries are historic, and are likely to make Israel a player in the international natural gas market.” If the gas can be extracted successfully, said Landau, Israel would turn into a supplier of gas on the world markets.
