PM: Flotilla Was a 'Violent Ambush'

Speaking at a security cabinet meeting Tuesday night, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said that the Gaza flotilla “was not a flotilla of peace, but a pre-planned violent ambush.” The Prime Minister expressed full support for IDF soldiers who participated in the raid on the ships. He ordered a thorough check of the contents of the ship for weapons, which, he said, would be used against Israelis if they got to Gaza.
