Rona Ramon, the widow of Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon and the mother of Assaf Ramon, who was killed in an Air Force training accident, expressed support on Tuesday for a bill that would ban reporters from making contact with the family of someone who was killed before the family was officially informed by the state.
In a letter to Member of Knesset Shai Hermesh, Ramon wrote that when her son died, a lot of things started happening around her house and she was contacted by a reporter hours before the military confirmed what had happened.
