At a meeting commemorating the sixth year of the IDF's elimination of Sheikh Akhmed Yassin, Hamas leaders reaffirmed that they were at the forefront of a worldwide struggle to force Islam on the populations of non-Muslim countries around the world. The conference took place on Friday.
At the conference, Hamas top terrorist Mahmoud a-Zahar said that Hamas was part of the worldwide Muslim Brotherhood, which is “a worldwide movement and the largest Islamic movement in the modern era... it is a worldwide movement” that seeks to unite “Muslims around the world who believe in Islamic resistance and who work to support it.” A-Zahar's comments reflect statements in the Hamas charter, which also describe Hamas as “the arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine” and committed to worldwide jihad.
