Meretz MK Defends New Israel Fund

Member of Knesset Nitzan Horowitz (Meretz) has argued that an investigation against the New Israel Fund would be “a political persecution of the worst kind.” This in response a demand by MK Otniel Shneller (Kadima) that the government establish a commission of inquiry into organizations financed by the anti-Zionist NIF who gave false testimony to the United Nations Golstone Report regarding last year’s Operation Cast Lead in Gaza.
