Member of Knesset Otniel Shneller (Kadima) has demanded that the government appoint a parliamentary commission of inquiry into the testimonies given to Judge Richard Goldstone by Israeli organizations financed by the New Israel Fund. The United Nations Goldstone Report maligned Israel’s conduct during last year’s Operation Cast Lead in the Gaza region and groups funded by the NIF have been accused of facilitating the anti-Israel report through giving false testimony in support of the UN agenda. The NIF is known to finance several organizations in Israel that encourage territorial surrender and undermine the Jewish character of the state.
