Infrastructures Minister Uzi Landau will make history Sunday as the first Israeli minister to visit the United Arab Emirates. Landau will speak at a meeting of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). During his speech, Landau will invited attendees to a conference on renewable energy in Eilat next month.

"Israel aims to be a main player in the area of renewable energy, and this conference is a rare opportunity for us," said Landau. "Nations in this region can find common ground on our joint interests in renewable energy, and my being invited to the conference proves this," he said.
