The arrest of the Arab constituted the second foiled terror attack on Tuesday; earlier, an Arab was arrested in the Old City of Jerusalem carrying a large knife, and under questioning admitted he had planned to carry out a terror attack.
Security forces foiled a terror attack at the Cave last Sunday as well; two Arab youths carrying large knives were arrested then as well, and they admitted that they, too, had planned to carry out a terror attack.
