Head of the Har Bracha yeshiva, Rabbi Eliezer Melamed commented on his decision to sign a declaration by Hesder rabbis that opposes anti-expulsion protests within the army.
He says that he has not changed his basic position that forbids soldiers taking part in expelling Jewish civilians from their homes, but in signing the document he has taken into account the majority opinion amongst the Hesder rabbis.
