According to the Prime Minister’s Office, a team of cabinet ministers and government officials headed by Defense Minister Ehud Barak (Labor) and Minister-Without-Portfolio Benny Begin (Likud) will convene on Sunday to discuss implementing the government’s ban on Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria. A major issue to be examined will be the needs of citizens hurt by the building freeze and the team will reportedly look into ways of easing the difficulties experienced by residents of effected communities throughout the duration of the freeze.

Cabinet Secretary Zvi Hauser and Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories Eitan Dangot held a working meeting tonight based on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s Thursday meeting with community leaders angry about the anti-Zionist policy and adjustments to the freeze are expected to be made.
