Speaking Tuesday night, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said that the current building freeze in Judea and Samaria was "a one time, temporary event." Speaking to journalists, Netanyahu said that he had no intention of renewing the freeze when it expired in ten months, and that building would resume in Judea and Samaria in ten months. "I wish to make it clear to residents of Judea and Samaria and to the entire nation, to our Palestinian neighbors and the international community, that this is a temporary, one time decision, just like the cabinet decided and according to my orders.
"The decision to freeze building is not easy for residents of the area, and it is not easy for me," Netanyahu said. "The residents of Judea and Samaria are an integral part of our people, who contribute and volunteer."
