Swine-Flu Infection Count at 4,330

The Health Ministry announced on Sunday that the number of people in Israel infected by the H1N1 swine-flu virus has reached 4,330 during the current international pandemic.

More than 99 percent have recovered, but the virus has been blamed for 32 deaths. Most of those who died suffered from other illnesses or conditions. Nine people diagnosed with the disease are listed in serious condition at various hospitals throughout the country.
