Assembly to Mark 75 Years Since Passing of Rav Kook

The World Zionist Organization will hold an assembly of hundreds of rabbis from Israel and around the world during the Hebrew month of Tevet (which starts December 18th) to mark 75 years since the passing of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook, who established the Chief Rabbinate and became the first Chief Rabbi of the pre-state Land of Israel. Interviewed by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, Rabbi Yechiel Wasserman said the assembly will deal with a wide variety of topics on the agenda of the orthodox public.

Regarding the topic of anti-Semitism, Rabbi Wasserman said, "Every emissary undergoes preparation before he goes abroad. We are always being updated regarding the challenges we face." He added that the preparation is determined by the time and destination of the emissary's mission.
