A new poll has found that the majority of the Jewish public thinks that continued Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria does not reduce the chances of reaching a two-state solution. Some 60% of Israelis say Jewish construction does not hurt the chances of peace, with only 33% concerned about such an outcome.

The poll is part of the War and Peace Index conducted by Tel Aviv University. The telephone interviews were conducted between October 12-13 and included 514 interviewees who represent the adult population of Israel. The sampling error for this size is 4.5%.
