The Counter Terrorism Bureau upgraded its travel warning for Israelis in India on Thursday and defined it as a "highly concrete threat." According to the advisory, the group that carried out last year's fatal attacks in Mumbai plans to strike Israelis around the country.
The bureau recommended that Israelis stay away from concentrations of Israelis and Westerners, and refrain from visiting Chabad houses and synagogues throughout the country, including Goa. The alert for the Kashmir area continues to be severe.
