A report on Israel Radio Sunday morning said that police caught a group of Israeli Arabs from the North driving on Road 6, who were on their way to Jerusalem and were planning to participate in demonstrations against the Jews entering the Temple Mount. Police forced the Arabs to return to their village.
Meanwhile, Arab media reported Sunday morning that a riot had broken out on the Temple Mount, and that Muslims were throwing stones at Israeli security forces. Israel Radio reported that several hundred Arabs were rioting on the Mount and in several places in the Old City, but that police had contained the incident.
