Rabbi Boteach Takes on Libyan Dictator

Two months ago, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach woke up in his New Jersey home to find eight large trees and a metal fence which separated his property from his neighbor's, were gone. It turns out the famous Rabbi was neighbors with the Libyan ambassador’s residence and it was being fixed up to prepare for a planned visit by the famous Libyan dictator Gaddafi.

Boteach did not take the news lying down and he sued the Libyan government for damaging his property. This coming Sunday he is also sponsoring a protest rally at his house, with the participation of local government officials. Says Boteach, "I don't want a terrorist living next door to me." Englewood, New Jersey officials added that the Libyan property has millions of dollars in arrears in property taxes.

Rabbi Boteach is a well known author, columnist and TV show host on Jewish affairs.
