Iran's Intelligence Ministry announced on Thursday that it had uncovered a terrorist plot to plant bombs in mosques and other crowded places in Tehran during the country's presidential election last Friday.

A ministry statement linked several terrorist groups to Israel and other foreign enemies of the Islamic Republic.
