Turkey is prepared to renew its mediating role in talks between Israel and Syria, Turkey’s Foreign Ministry announced Thursday afternoon. Turkey’s Foreign Ministry spokesman told the press that two countries must first indicate their desire to continue political contact.
Turkey previously served as key mediator between Israel and Syria in the last round of talks that ended due to Israel’s military operations in Gaza and Israel’s newly elected administration.
