United States President Barack Obama will visit the Buchenwald concentration camp during an upcoming trip to Europe, German media have reported. The report was not confirmed by U.S. officials.
Obama's great-uncle, Charlie Payne, was one of the American soldiers who liberated the Buchenwald camp. More than 50,000 people were murdered at the camp before allied troops gained control of the area.
