Gingrich to AIPAC: Attack Iran

The Bush administration was too soft on Iran, which should be in the crosshairs of the American armed forces, former Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives Newt Gingrich said in a speech on the opening day of the annual American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) meeting Sunday. "I favor taking out Iranian and North Korean missiles on their sites," he said.

A strong supporter of Israel, he declared, “A world that will destroy Israel will surely destroy the United States.” He compared Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with Hitler and said that the Iranian “evil regime” could disappear very quickly if the American government were to initiate actions such as depriving Iran from voting in the United Nations and disrupting gasoline supplies to Iran.
