U.S. President Barack Obama is scheduled to be the first President to hold a Passover Seder in the White House on Thursday evening. He will celebrate with friends and staff.

Jews in the Diaspora have two Seders, one on Wednesday night and one on Thursday night. Passover lasts for seven days beginning sundown on Wednesday.
