Russia will shortly be exporting armored vehicles to the Palestinian Authority, according to the Interfax news agency. The PA will receive 50 of the military vehicles, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who told the news agency that Moscow would ship the vehicles "in the very near future."

Lavrov spoke with reporters on Monday during a flight to Spain from Egypt following a meeting of the Quartet of peacekeeping nations, which includes Russia, the U.S., the European Union and the United Nations.
