Yaakov Katz (Ketzaleh), head of the National Union party, said in response to the election results: "We are running for long distances, and we have now just started. Thank G-d, we have four MKs; I promise that with G-d's help, this small group will become the largest in Israel."
Ketzaleh noted with satisfaction that the Jewish Home had passed the minimum threshhold and would have three Knesset seats: "We will call upon the Jewish Home to work together with us. We will recommend that Netanyahu form the next government, and we will make every effort to ensure that a strong, stable right-wing government be established."
