American Middle East envoy George Mitchell arrived in Cairo Tuesday afternoon on the first leg of his introductory trip to the region in that capacity.
While in Egypt, Mitchell is scheduled to meet President Hosni Mubarak and Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul-Gheit.
