Police report that a Color Red missile alert in the Sdot Negev region Tuesday morning was a false alarm. The alert system had indicated the launching of a mortar shell in the area, but a police search showed that no firing had taken place.
Residents of the kibbutz where the alert sounded told Arutz 7 that a mortar shell exploded next to the kibbutz.
