Rocket Attack in Ashkelon

Hamas terrorists fired a few minutes ago (Sunday afternoon) rockets into Israel. Two Grad-type rockets were fired from northern Gaza. One of the rockets exploded in Ashkelon.

There are no reports of injuries or damages at this time.

Earlier Sunday morning, terrorists fired three Grad rockets that travelled more than 25 miles from Gaza. The rockets exploded east of Ashdod, while one of the rockets exploding in a courtyard of a home near Ashdod, causing major damage to the home.

Around 9:30 a.m., an air raid siren sounded in the Ashdod and Ashkelon region. Explosions were heard in the area a few minutes later. There were no reports of injuries or damage.

In the Yavneh region, sirens wailed. Two Kassam rockets exploded in open areas in the Eshkol Regional Council. Yesterday, 64 rockets were fired. One Netivot resident was killed and several were injured.
