Archaeologists found 250 gold coins Sunday in a dig in the City of David in Jerusalem. The dig is being carried out in what was until now a parking lot for the tourist site.
The dig is being conducted by the Antiquities Authority in conjunction with the Environmental Parks Authority. It is funded by the Elad foundation which is responsible for the City of David.
