Former head of IDF Moshe Yaalon said this morning that kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit should not be returned at any price. Yaalon is also a candidate for Likud in the upcoming elections. His comments came in an interview with army radio.

Yaalon said that negotiating for Shalit’s return should not be a political issue and should remain in the interests of all parties. He stressed that Israel should not pay too high a price for Shalit, since doing so would encourage terrorists to kidnap more soldiers.
