Member of Knesset Aryeh Eldad was chosen to head the Hatikvah party on Tuesday. Eldad formed the party to give a secular voice to Land of Israel nationalism following the recomposition of the component parties in the National Union to form the religious Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) party.

Interviewed by Arutz 7, Eldad said he wanted to run on a united list with Bayit Yehudi.
