Indian television reported Thursday night that there were no Israeli hostages left in the Nariman House building, where Mumbai's Chabad House is located, but it was believed there were still at least two, possibly more gunmen still in the building. The gunmen had demanded freedom for members of their organization in exchange for freeing of the hostages.
Indian commandos were still in the process of securing other sites in the city from terrorists as of early Friday morning, Mumbai time. Four Israelis are believed held hostage at the Oberoi Hotel.
