'Abraham Lucky He Didn't Need State High Court's OK'

(IsraelNN.com) Rabbi Dov Lior told the thousand-plus crowd of Peace House supporters Tuesday night in Kiryat Arba that "We are lucky that our forefather Abraham, who bought the Machpelah Cave, did not need the approval of the State's High Court. Otherwise they would have invalidated that purchase as well."
The Cave of the Machpelah is where the Jewish forefathers, including Abraham himself, are buried.
The purchase of the cave and surrounding lands is recounted in the Bible, in the Torah portion to be read aloud in synagogues this Sabbath.
