Hamas political bureau chief Khaled Mashaal traveled from his base in Damascus to meet with Hizbullah terrorist chief Hassan Nasrallah and other Lebanese leaders in Beirut on Monday.
It was Mashaal's first known visit to the Lebanese capital since the Israel Air Force bombed Hamas offices there during the 2006 Second Lebanon War.
Both Mashaal and Nasrallah avoid appearing publicly in person and keep their movements secret due to fears of assassination.
