Presumptive Republican Presidential nominee John McCain would be better able to deal with Iran's suspected nuclear weapons program than Democratic nominee Barack Obama, former Republican Presidential candidate and possible McCain running mate Mike Huckabee said Monday during a visit to Jerusalem.
"McCain has a much stronger view of how Israel must protect itself," Huckabee said, adding: "There is no naïvete on his part about the threat posed by Iran's nuclear program."
Huckabee, the former Governor of Arkansas and a Baptist Minister, said that "traditional" American voters, including the evangelical Christian community, would wind up voting for McCain.
